About Annie O'Carroll

Annie O'Carroll, owner and principal, has been practicing interior design in Santa Fe since 1991. Before moving to New Mexico, Annie enjoyed a career with Marriott Hotels in International Travel sales. Traveling awakened in her a love of design in architecture and interiors.

Annie left the hotel field to study design and earn a degree from the Design Institute in Newport Beach, California.

Annie believes the best design is the product of collaborating with client, architect and builder. Her most striking projects have involved her from the inception of a project to placing the final painting-always with an eye to the finished project. It is the job of a great design team to express a client's vision and desires with beauty and creativity and to aim beyond the client's expectations.

About Cara Scarola

Cara Scarola is an interior designer working with Annie O'Carroll. Since completing a Masters degree in Interior Architecture at the University of Oregon, Cara has worked on a variety of projects that range from new custom homes to residential and commercial remodels. Cara also holds a Bachelors degree in fine art from Lewis and Clark College.

Her formal education and professional experience give her a detailed understanding of all aspects of the design process from preliminary design and construction documents to finish and furniture selections.

Her creative endeavors also include photography, painting, travel, and nature. Cara is particularly interested in environmental sustainability as it relates to interior design. She is currently working towards L.E.E.D. certification.
